Project Description

The Ab-Teymour oilfield in Khuzestan province, 25 km from west of Ahwaz, lies between the Mansuri oilfield and Susangerd oilfield. The structure this field was discovered in 1961 with seismic operations and after drilling well No. 1 of Ab-Teymour in 1967 and proving the existence of oil in the Bangestan reservoir, the production began. The length of the field is 23 km and its width is 6 km. Based on preliminary calculations, the minimum in situ oil of Ab-Teymour is estimated at 15.2 billion barrels.
